The Plantarium Garden Lab lets you grown seeds without the need for constant watering. Perfect if yours is the kind of home where plants usually have no chance! Sow the seeds, then all you need to do is sit back and watch them grow.* And thanks to the transparent boxes and the coloured growing gel, it looks amazing (and has nothing to do with old pots and messy soil!).
*NOTE: We don't mean that literally!
What makes the Plantarium Garden Lab special is the gel it uses. The same gel as used by NASA to grow plants in space! Actually, this gel is even better because it's coloured! –(blue, red and yellow culture medium).
All you need to get the set started is water, sugar and a microwave (or a stove).
The next step is the 'difficult' bit: Which gel for which plant? Included are seeds for basil, tomatoes and cucumber.
As soon as the seeds are in their miniature greenhouse, they will grow. The gel lets you see the roots, too. Kind of futuristic, eh? When the seedlings are big enough, they can be replanted into the enclosed pots. Don't worry, –you still don't need to get any potting soil. Just use the attached turf capsules and add a little bit of water. Now you'll have your own fruitful harvest! :).
The boxes can be reused with any convenient seeds and some refill gel.
