According to a proposal by Cecilia Malmström, EU Commissioner for Home Affairs, all EU countries should establish a censorship infrastructure on the Internet. As always, the main focus is on combating child pornography, but this new initiative will be just as ineffective in helping to combat child pornography, instead creating a dangerous structure for censorship measures.
