It is indeed quite nice and kind when other people occasionally ask how you are doing. But sometimes you are simply working on a project that requires one hundred percent attention. Or sometimes you just don't want to deal with people. That can happen too. ;) In both cases, the inquiring person is rather disturbing...
So that you can still tell the people around you how you are doing, there is the "Do Not Disturb" metal sign. On this robust and embossed sign, which can be attached to almost any surface with the four holes or double-sided tape, it clearly states that you do not want to be disturbed. Very important! Secondly, important exceptions to this instruction are listed (fire and zombies) and thirdly, there are pre-made answers to the four most common questions you might be asked. Finally, you no longer run the risk of inadvertently alienating others with a curt distraction! :)
