Is getDigital an EA agent in disguise? After all, we also offer lootboxes!
At the moment there's a real shitstorm raging against EA on the internet, partly because of the loot boxes in EA games (especially in Star Wars Battlefront 2). For a few months now, we've also been offering a lootbox for a few months now. It's physical and guaranteed without any additional DLC, but we still received the following criticism from you by e-mail:

Damn, and I said at the time of founding that only stupid bad guys use anagrams or similar for the name! Crap! In any case, such an investigative effort naturally requires a proper response. David therefore sent the customer this e-mail:
Hello,OH MY GOD, DON'T TELL ANYONE, OTHERWISE DISNEY WILL GET IN TOUCH WITH US BECAUSE WE'RE REFLECTING BADLY ON THEIR MARQUEE PROPERTY AND WE'LL HAVE TO ROW BACK WITH ALL THE PAY TO WIN STUFF!!!
On the other hand, it's not so bad, we only have to wait 1-2 weeks until people get bored of the topic and then we can move forward again step by step as if nothing had happened...
"Lootboxes as a service" FTW! Now give us your money! *muhahahaha*

Customer ServicePS: As you can see, we don't care how flat yours was, we can go even flatter. :-P Besides, we know that we won't suddenly turn the "just cosmetic items" into single-use items in the new edition (Destiny), the spread of annoying duplicates is zero with us (Overwatch), we won't suddenly bend the whole store experience into a tough grind, so that you subscribe out of sheer desperation (Shadow of War), we promote companies with good results instead of flattening them after we've sucked them dry (like Visceral Games recently) and we also provide quick replacements for defective products (patches at Warner Bros...). By the way, the staff here are also very happy and are here for the long term (CD Projekt RED)!
I think we are happy to make the comparison on that basis. :-P
